Inter School Soccer and Netball tournament: 10 June 2017
On 10 June 2017, 119 learners and 11 staff members from our school visited Nseleni Primary School to respond to the inter school soccer and netball invitation received. Two soccer teams and two netball teams represented our school in the matches played. The learners – supporters and players – enjoyed themselves thoroughly. In the soccer match, Team A lost 2 – 0 while the Team B won 2 – 1. In netball, Team A lost 10 – 8 while Team B won 6 – 4. Well done to our teams.
The learners were treated to KFC, oranges. apples and cool drink organised by the school as part of the trip cost. Nseleni Primary also prepared a meal for the learners and we thank them for the enjoyable day spent with them. Photographs of the days event is in the gallery section.
Annual Inter-House Competition: 6 June 2017
Our School internal inter-house athletics competition took place on 6 June and the learners from all 4 Houses were very enthusiastic and ready for the days events. The teachers were also excited as this is our first inter-house Athletic event after a number of years. The novelty items (sack race, egg & spoon race, skipping and bean bag) proved to be a hit among the learners. The final result was Cheetahs won with 100 points followed by Tigers with 54, Zebras with 73 and Lions with 67. Some photos of the days events are to be found under the gallery section. The following are the learners who came in first in their events. They received a medal for their achievement.
